Check Off Every Box

A problem found today means the replacement is moving before install day. This check turns a pile of boxes into a confirmed inventory — and one clean email if anything is wrong.

Delivery note in one hand, marker in the other

Purpose
Full inventory confirmed — every box against the delivery note.
When
After everything lands — within days of delivery, before the crew is booked.
Who
The installer — or a careful customer.
The work
1
Work from the delivery note
It lists every item with its order number (ACK#) and position number (POS#). It is the master list.
2
Use the check-mark method
Read the label. Tick the label. Find the line on the delivery note. Tick the note. Every box. Every line.
3
Unwrap, inspect, re-wrap
Cabinets off the pallets. Cardboard off with care — panels stay in their plastic. Check every surface. Re-wrap for storage.
4
Document every issue
Photograph each one clearly — the issue itself, and the white sticker with the ACK# and POS#. Every issue gets documented, no matter how small.
5
Some lines have no box
That is normal. Handles and toe kick ship bulk-packed or inside cabinets. Small parts come in small bags. Look inside cabinets first.
6
Appliances
Appliances arrive separately from your cabinets. Make sure they are on site for install — and check make + model against the spec.
7
Submit any issues to customer support
Everything in one list to customer support at nobilia.com — ACK#, POS#, what’s wrong, all photos attached. Within 7 days. Open the Report an Issue form →
Finding the numbers — StudioDoes not apply to Klassik

Studio kitchens are made to order at the factory and check off against the Project Installation Guide (P.I.G.). Klassik checks off against the parts list in the order packet — see Read Your Klassik Specs.

Check off from the elevationsNot the floor plan. Every cabinet and panel has its POS# marked on the P.I.G. elevations.
P.I.G. elevations with POS numbers
The check-mark methodLabel → elevation → done. Tick the label, tick the matching number on the elevation. Every box, every line.
Check-mark method: label to elevation
One ACK or manyOne ACK: the POS# alone — 01, 02, 03. More than one ACK: a 4-digit code, last two of the ACK + the POS#. ACK …07, POS 17 → 0717.
Production label with POS number
The check-mark method: tick the label, tick the delivery note
The check-mark method — read the label, tick the label, tick the note.

Handoff
A completed check with anything wrong hands off to the Report an Issue form — everything submitted to customer support at once, within 7 days. Then book the crew.
Escalate
Some things only show up mid-install — a mark on a door front, a few missing screws. Report them when found; most do not delay the job.
