The Final Walkthrough

End the project with confidence: everything opened, everything checked, everything photographed — together. Most contractors never do this walk. This one closes the job with pride, on record.

Even gaps are the mark of a finished job

Purpose
The project ends on record — checked, documented, and signed by both sides.
When
Install complete.
Who
Installer and customer together.
The work
1
Walk it together
Every cabinet, panel, filler, trim, toe kick. Installed and looking right.
2
Open everything
Every door, drawer, pullout. Smooth, aligned, quiet.
2b
Check appliance spaces
Every appliance fits its opening — gaps right, doors clear. The classic post-install surprise, caught here.
3
Check the reveals
Even gaps are the mark of a finished job.
4
Record what changed
Any on-site changes to the design. What, why, and the result.
5
Photograph the finish
The rooms. The details. Anything that changed. Final photos are the record — and send a few finished photos to the nobilia team; we’d love to see it. (wording TBD)
6
Sign together
Customer confirms. Installer confirms.
The gateNobody leaves without a signed walkthrough.
Handoff
The signed sheet and final photos join the job record. Anything unfinished gets a name, a reason, and a follow-up plan.
Escalate
Anything that can't be resolved in the room: report it — ACK#, POS#, photos — through Report an Issue.
